Videography & Editing
I have been making videos for five years. Some of my past experiences include filming at the Minnesota State Fair (including on the floor of the Beef Champion Drive), at the MLBA 4-H Purple Ribbon Livestock Auction, the Minnesota Zoo, and more. I use Filmora 9 and Adobe Premier for all of my editing.
Public Speaking & Broadcasting
Public speaking is a passion of mine. I have interviewed many agricultural career professionals and have appeared in interviews on RFD-TV, the 2020 MLBA 4-H Purple Ribbon Auction Scholarship Program, in Successful Farming Magazine, in The Land paper, and more. I have also talked at various events including the 2021 National 4-H Youth Summit on Agri-Science, the Women's Agricultural Leadership Conference, the Minnesota State Fair, 2018-2020 Career Navigator Events, the 2021 All-Minnesota Academic Team Banquet, and more.
Social Media and Graphics
I have experience using Canva Pro and Adobe products to create social media posts and other graphics. I have been running (both alone and with others) social media accounts for Beyond the Farm, the MN Ag Digital Media Team, Greenwald's Greenhouse, Mama's Mercantile, and various 4-H pages. I have also participated in the 2020 and 2021 College Aggies Online Program.
Writing
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved writing. I have experience using AP style, writing formal news articles, blog posts and op-eds, press releases, and have gained experience in Public Relations writing. Additionally, I have experience writing educational and research papers, short stories, poetry, and other creative writing works. In my free time, I enjoy writing guest blog posts.
Other Skills
I have a variety of skills including contract writing, sponsorship sales, leadership experience, experience planning events and projects and much more. I have gotten to practice and improve these skills through my time in 4-H, running my project Beyond the Farm, and through the MN Ag Digital Media Team. I also have experience with Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Asana, Sprout, Meltwater and the sales platform Square.
