Agricultural Literacy

In 2016, I noticed a problem in the world. I discovered that many people don't know about the food production process and about the variety of careers in agriculture. I started diving deeper into the issue and discovered that it's bigger than I thought.

What started as a simple 4-H project has grown into an agricultural literacy project. My goal is to raise awareness of what ag literacy is and why there is a lack in ag literacy today, all while solving this problem and educating people about agriculture.

Since Beyond the Farm was created, it has been featured in Successful Farming magazine, on RFD-TV and on AGDAILY Media. I have also spoken to thousands of people across the country and have surveyed thousands more to learn more about perspectives in agriculture.
